Car Park There is ample car parking in the main car park with overflow spaces available in the surrounding streets. The Scottish Golf Union and Monifieth Golf Links Committee of Management cannot accept responsibility for any damage to cars.
Clubhouse The host Club is Broughty Golf Club and their clubhouse will be open from 7.00am. Competitors are permitted the use of the clubhouse facilities. In all clubhouse areas and on the course casual wear is acceptable for competitors but must be smart. THE WEARING OF JEANS, DENIM TROUSERS, SLEEVELESS OR COLLARLESS SHIRTS, SHELL SUITS AND TRAINING SHOES IS NOT PERMITTED. Competitors shall not be allowed to purchase alcoholic drinks.
MOBILE PHONES MUST BE SWITCHED OFF IN THE CLUBHOUSE, CAR PARK AND ON THE COURSE.
Catering Bar snacks will be available all day from 7.30am. All catering is at the competitor's expense.
Yardage Books and Caddie Cars The Professional’s shop has yardage books available for purchase and trolleys available for hire on a first come first served basis.
Registration & Play Competitors must register at least 30 minutes prior to their morning starting times as shown on the official draw sheet. Each competitor will be issued with a copy of the local rules, pin positions and pace of play guidelines when registering at the Championship Office.
Competitors will play two rounds on Sunday 28 March.
COMPETITORS MUST REPORT TO THE OFFICIAL STARTER AT THE FIRST TEE 5 MINUTES BEFORE THEY ARE DUE TO PLAY. Competitors are reminded that late arrival at the first tee will result in disqualification as no provision has been made under Rule 6-3.
CADDIES ARE NOT PERMITTED AND COMPETITORS ARE REMINDED THAT THEY MUST NOT SEEK OR ACCEPT ADVICE FROM PARENTS, OTHER COMPETITORS OR ANY OTHER PERSON. NB. "Advice" is any counsel or suggestion that could influence a player in determining his play, the choice of a club or the method of making a stroke.
Etiquette In the interests of all, each competitor should play without delay, leave a bunker as he would expect to find it, replace divots and repair pitch marks.
Practice Rounds & Practice Facility There is no courtesy practice round but players wishing to play the course in advance of the event may do so by paying the relative green fee. Please call the Starter (Tel: 01382 532767) for tee-time availability and rates. A practice facility is available for use, this is situated on the Barry Road between Monifieth and Carnoustie opposite the green sheds. This facility is a short drive in the car and players are required to provide their own balls. If using this facility please ensure ample time to return to the 1st tee. Presentation There will be no official prize presentation. Vouchers will be forwarded to the leading 3 players.

Directions Monifieth Golf Links is situated on the east coast of Scotland, 2 miles from Carnoustie.
Driving from the west, south and north take the A90 to Dundee, and follow the Kingsway City Bypass before turning onto the A92 Arbroath Road.
Take the Grange turnoff and from the bottom of Grange Road turn left onto the A930. Continue through Monifieth High Street and on reaching the library turn right onto Tay Street, the course is situated 600 yards ahead.
From the north east follow the A90, southbound, on reaching Dundee continue on the City Bypass, Kingsway East and A92 before following directions above.
