Car Park
There is ample car parking in the main car park. The Scottish Golf Union and Brunston Castle cannot accept responsibility for any damage to cars.

Clubhouse
The clubhouse will be open from 7.00am. Competitors are permitted the use of the clubhouse facilities.

In all clubhouse areas and on the course casual wear is acceptable for competitors but must be smart. THE WEARING OF JEANS, DENIM TROUSERS, SLEEVELESS OR COLLARLESS SHIRTS, SHELL SUITS AND TRAINING SHOES IS NOT PERMITTED.

Competitors shall not be allowed to purchase alcoholic drinks.

MOBILE PHONES MUST BE SWITCHED OFF IN THE CLUBHOUSE, CAR PARK AND ON THE COURSE.

Changing facilities and showers are available in the Gents Locker Rooms.

Catering
Coffee and morning rolls will be available from 7.00am. Snacks and lunch will be available throughout the day. All catering is at the competitor's expense.

Registration & Play
Competitors must register at least 30 minutes prior to their morning starting times as shown on the official draw sheet. Each competitor will be issued with a copy of the local rules, pin positions and pace of play guidelines when registering at the Championship Office.

Competitors will play two rounds on Saturday 22 May.

COMPETITORS MUST REPORT TO THE OFFICIAL STARTER AT THE FIRST OR TENTH TEES 5 MINUTES BEFORE THEY ARE DUE TO PLAY. Competitors are reminded that late arrival at your allocated starting tee will result in disqualification as no provision has been made under Rule 6-3.

CADDIES ARE NOT PERMITTED AND COMPETITORS ARE REMINDED THAT THEY MUST NOT SEEK OR ACCEPT ADVICE FROM PARENTS, OTHER COMPETITORS OR ANY OTHER PERSON. NB. "Advice" is any counsel or suggestion that could influence a player in determining his play, the choice of a club or the method of making a stroke.

Etiquette
In the interests of all, each competitor should play without delay, leave a bunker as he would expect to find it, replace divots and repair pitch marks.

Practice Rounds & Practice Facility
Competitors may book one complimentary practice round by telephoning Brunston Castle GC on 01465 811471. The junior rate for additional practice rounds is £15.

A driving range is available at the club; tokens may be purchased from the Professional’s Shop.

Presentation
There will be no official prize presentation. Vouchers will be forwarded to the leading 3 players.

Responsibility
Brunston Castle Golf Club and the Scottish Golf Union cannot accept responsibility for players’ property during the event.

Brunston Castle GC is located in the village of Dailly, five miles north of Girvan on the B471. 5 miles east of Turnberry, 20 minutes south of Ayr and just 50 miles south-west of Glasgow.
