CHECK-IN Competitors must check in no later than 09.30am at the SGU Championship Registration Desk. This will be situated in the entrance to Strathmore Golf Club. Participants are required to attend the pre-event briefing, which will commence at 09.45am.
CLUBHOUSE Competitors may use the clubhouse facilities. The dress code is smart casual. The wearing of jeans, shorts, sleeveless or collarless shirts, shell suits (tracksuit) and training shoes is not permitted. Shoes worn on the golf course may not be worn in the clubhouse.
CATERING Each competitor will receive vouchers in exchange for tea/coffee and bacon roll prior to play and a two course lunch at the conclusion of play. Any catering, out with that provided by Strathmore GC and the SGU, will be at competitors own expense.
FORMAT The event is an individual stableford competition with full handicap allowance up to a maximum of 28. Play will commence with a shotgun start at 10.00am. The field size will be a maximum of 80 competitors. Points are awarded in relation to par at each hole as follows:

In the event of a tie for prize winning positions the following countback procedure will be applied:
The highest points total for the last 9 and if still a tie The highest points total for the last 6 and if still a tie The highest points total for the last 3 and if still a tie The highest points total for the last 1 and if still a tie If still a tie sudden death match play on the best points on the card, hole by hole from the 1st hole.
TEES Play will be from the yellow tees.
RULES The event will be played under the R&A Rules of Golf and the local rules of Strathmore Golf Club, as set by the SGU.
TROLLEYS & YARDADGE BOOKS A limited number of trolleys are available for hire on a first come first served basis from the Professional’s Shop. Yardage books are also available for purchase from the Professional’s Shop.
PRIZES & PRIZEGIVING Prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers on the day. Results will be announced at the prizegiving which will take place as soon as possible at the conclusion of lunch. All prize winners are expected to attend.
SCORECARDS Scorecards will be provided by the SGU and must be returned to the SGU Championship Mobile Office immediately after play.
