Tournament Details

The 36- Hole Amateur Spring Championship Presented by Tim Ferris of HAYWOOD SECURITIES is a stroke play Championship for male and female Amateur Golfers (0-18 RCGA factor). The event is contested at Northview Canal Golf Club (round one) and Northview Ridge Course (Round two).

Full Field Size: 80 players
Amateur Payout: Top Gross Scores in Championship and one Overall Gross and remaining top Net Scores in Flights A & B win prizes.

Eligibility
Exemptions will be given to the top 18 VGT Members in each handicap flight as of May 17th, 2013 and the first 20 VGT Members to sign up who are outside these exemptions will make up the remainder of the field. If the field is not filled by May 24th, Non-Members will be entered in the field in the order of their registration.

Entry Fee & Registration
Preferred Member - Amateur: $200 + GST
Basic/ Non- Member - Amateur: $235 + GST

Entry Fee includes:
• FENIX GOLF POLO ($70 Value)
• 18 Holes at Northview Canal Golf Club
• 18 Holes at Northview Ridge Golf Club
• Sandwich/drink both days of event
• Warm-up range balls both days
• KP, Long Drive and Individual Amateur prizes totaling over $3,000
• Chance to qualify for Johnston Meier Insurance $1MILLION Shoot-out Qualifier on June 1st.

Order of Merit (OOM) points will be awarded as follows:

The OOM for this event is based on finish position:

1st Place: 2500 pts 11th place: 400 pts
2nd Place: 1500 pts 12th place: 360 pts
3rd Place: 1200 pts 13th place: 320 pts
4th Place: 1100 pts 14th place: 300 pts
5th Place: 1000 pts 15th place: 240 pts
6th Place: 900 pts 16th place: 200 pts
7th Place: 800 pts 17th place: 160 pts
8th Place: 700 pts 18th place: 120 pts
9th Place: 600 pts 19th place: 80 pts
10th Place: 500 pts 20th place: 40 pts

1st Place: Wins a free flight to ‘14 VGT Desert Classic in Palm Spring + $200 Credit for event.
